In this topic, we'll post any progress on the known plaform issues that you have brought to our attention so far and that we are looking into, along with any future updates we get on them. We thought it would be good to recap what is currently being worked on, and have it all in one place so we can keep you in the loop going forward slight_smile

Current issues being looked into

-These have been reported to the platform provider and are being investigated-

 

  • Kudos and posting box window not working correctly in the blog section
  • New comments on Blog articles (Reviews or Guides) in Unread posts link to the initial post and not the latest comments
  • Read comments stuck in Unread Posts even after being read

 

Current feedback being looked into

-These are being discussed with the different teams involved in the project-

 

  • Various differences between Mobile view and Full view (list here)
  • Size of the homepage header
  • Image in the hompage header
  • Lack of board structure on the homepage

WARNING!!

Just advising people to check your bills carefully!

I thought mine was high this month and on checking, I find I have suddenly started paying for Disney Extra at £7.99 per month!

I haven't requested it. Last time I upgraded was September 2024. No extras were on offer at that time.

I've checked my last 4 bills and they are as they should be.

I certainly haven't added Disney and it has now been removed.

I wouldn't mind but the last time I had the free Disney was in 2023. I ended it (before it was due) by following the Guide by @jonsie Guide: Adding and removing O2 Extras .

So just be careful. Check your bills to make sure the 'Gremlins' haven't changed it! 👀

Out of interest, what avenue did you have to pursue to get it removed this time, including refund of fees taken in error from your account?

I followed the guide. They sent me an OTP. Then for 'added security' asked for phone number. (A bit odd as they had sent OTP to the phone number!!)

Now my bill isn't due to be paid until 6th January, so I need to see if this £7.99 is taken before I request a refund.

I have had a text from O2 stating Disney has been cancelled.

I`ve checked my latest notification of forthcoming bill - due to be paid 27 Dec - and doesn`t show any additions

but I`ll check after bill paid to make sure no additions taken.

I added a Bolt On data as all Internet in area went down last Friday told back 3rd January!  Uproar so back Monday 😆

I get Disney free via my bank account

I did have a strange experience with Disney when I had come to the end of a free extra after upgrading

I was charged the following month and got a refund of £5.79 instead of the £7,99

At that stage after 2 phone calls to an Asian(?) call centre and not understanding a word they said I gave up and put it down as one of life's experiences never to be attempted or repeated again!

All bills since have been fine....
