I am ready for the hills!! I am not receiving any voicemail notifications at all when my mobile data is turned off! As soon as I switch the 4g on the voicemail notifications come through, however I’m only on 500 mb per month so not ideal ?? Now I have never had to do this before to receive voicemail notifications and after speaking to o2 for 30 mins and them trying a few different things they basically said to contact apple ! I have now done this and they tried everything to help however they feel it’s o2’s issue. I also am wondering if this is the case as my friend has the exact same phone iPhone se however with EE and has no issues with her voicemail. Please any help would be really appreciated. Thanks

You need data to be enabled for vvm on o2.
It won’t work on WiFi unfortunately.
EE may be different but you definitely need Mobile data on o2.

Yes it’s on however I get no voicemail notifications when someone leaves me a voicemail. It only works when my mobile data is on and I don’t think that should be the case. I’m hoping someone can help me on how to get visual voicemail working without having 4g on

That has happened to me before with my old iPhone. Have you tried sending a voicemail to yourself from another phone then deleting it

As I explained on your other post, this is how vvm works on o2.
Mobile data must be enabled or else it won’t work. The only way around it is to turn off vvm and just have standard voicemail.

@Fofer If you want to switch providers then make sure the one you choose has good signal in the places you frequent

My opinion is that o2 are inferior to at least 3 other networks. So fourth out of four!
