02 wont let me unlock my iPhone?

I’ve tried 3 times now keeps saying failed security. Only just brought phone put in 02 sim so I can unlock it but still saying it please help do I need to top it up? Really don’t want to waste £10 as I need to be on 3 network. Thanks

@Emma991 When did you buy the phone? O2 haven't sold locked phones since June 2018.

If you purchased it in November have you been using it on o2 since? Then it should show in your my o2 for you to request the unlock.
If not, then you will have to follow the process given.

If you put an o2 sim in the phone and it tells you its locked that means its not locked to o2 but locked to another network.

 

You need to determine what network its locked to by trying a sim from each network in the phone.
