Hi all. I occasionally text my dad in lanzarote(he has a sim card for there) it usually costs around 16p per text. The last couple of texts I have sent are now costing 26p per text. I can't find anything about price rises. I am on a pay monthly contract. Can you shed any light on this please

Got this from your link @adamtemp64
And actually using 'opting out of marketing texts' as an excuse doesn't wash with me. This is a change of policy. Hardly marketing!

Got exactly the same @adamtemp64. I am on PC using FF....phone is on charge so not using that. Either way it is NOT marketing...it's policy change. I am not changing my marketing preferences just to get a text or email from O2.They have my contact details for letting me know my bill and my number for when I land abroad. ....It could also go into My O2..
It's easy enough to get the changes in policy out to customers. ....
