Can someone please help. I have recently been having issues with my signal, call reception and data where I live. The phone I have is a Samsung S22+ on 02 in the UK. The phone I have is a US made phone and the carrier of it is AT&T which is based in the US. I have been looking at the band frequencies between the two and they all differ for LTE/4G/5G etc which is making me wonder. I have raised issues with 02 and they say there is a problem in my area with my nearest phone mast. This phone mast issue has been going on now for roughly 2/3 months and they say engineers are working to fix it asap. I am wondering if I am looking too far into it? Or maybe them saying the phone mast near me not working might be just an excuse to cover themselves? I am really hoping the issue is 02, otherwise I am going to have to maybe get my phone software flashed with a UK one.
Thanks,
Shirley

@Shirl60 Whatever signal issues you're having won't have anything to do with AT&T. They partner O2 in the US, and O2 does the same for them in the UK. If O2 are saying there are mast issues in your area, then it's O2 you need to deal with. You can check to see if the phone itself is compatible here: www.willmyphonework.net.

And just to add, I haven't always had issues. I have had my phone for roughly 2 years and it's been spot on until the issue above.

@Shirl60 - repairs can take some time to effect - get hold of the O2 My Network app and register for an account - then put in places where you need signal and let the app do the work. https://www.o2.co.uk/apps/my-network
Not sure if your ex-At&T handset will work with O2's WiFi Calling, but worth a shot until the mast repaired complete, @Shirl60

Good luck!

I have already downloaded the my network app and put in my postcode and it shows that there is an issue with my nearest mast but this is because I rang up complaining about it I think.

And the wifi calling doesn't apply to me because I use my unlimited mobile data 18 month sim only contract deal that I have recently gone with as my full internet source. Thanks for your advice.

This is very reassuring. That website.. an S22+ or S906U which is my phone and model.. neither of them are in the list. It has worked for me for about a year and a half without any issues so it's definately compatible. That's with 4g and 5g aswell depending on where I am. Thanks for your advice.
