Hi,

I signed up to Virgin Media yesterday and was asked if I was an O2 customer. I responded with yes and now I’ve been setup with a new contract that says I need to pay £25.00 a month? I was told I’d get a new SIM card etc but I was told this was free and I’d only be paying what was agreed for the tv services etc.

Unfortunately as you have discovered it isn't free

Virginmedia upselling once again

Call them back and ask them to cancel

However you need to cancel the contract with O2 also

@Chris69

You need to speak to Virgin Media on 0345 454 1111 as the person who processed you order has messed up.  As they have signed you for the o2 included Volt, so you pay for the sim card at £25 per month.

Nothing o2 can do with it at this stage..

Just to add you can have volt without an new sim card, as that is what I do...  This only applies if you are already an o2 customer on Pay Monthly
