o2 number has not transferred to new phone

I have a new mobile with o2.   I am an existing customer and the number has not transferred to my new phone.Can someone help ?

If you did an upgrade you can use your existing sim. If you took a new contract through a 3rd party, you need to call O2 to migrate your number. 

Guide: Migration & porting into O2
