Waiting for NHS verification on O2 open

I'm trying to apply my NHS discount on my new phone contract, I've sent off my payslip for verification. It says it'll take 3 working days, it's been 5. Is covid causing a delay in o2 getting through these requests? I only have 28 days to apply this discount and I'm concerned I'm going to run out of time.
