Hello,

Has anyone else experienced an error when calling the voicemail service?

When I dial 901 the line terminates itself straight away without ringing. I have also attempted to enter 1760 to turn off and 1750 to turn on but both are not connecting either.

I have also checked my phone's settings but all is showing the voicemail service should still be active.

I have also done tester calls to other phone lines and they are all connecting/ ringing out.

Thanks

Sounds like something that will require access to your account which can't be done from here

Message O2 on
Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB
Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you.

Or ring 202 from a contract phone or 4445 from PAYG

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

I have had exactly the same problem since this afternoon. Cant dial 901, cant click the icon saying i have a message. Just says call ending straight away. Couldnt even dial 202 for help, same problem. Had to dial a real number. They say it might be a wider issue?

I cannot listen voicemail, I cannot call 901, 1750, 1760, 202 or any other short numbers from o2. The guys on the chat help section couldn't help as well. I have re-booted the phone, reseted the network settings, removed the sim card and put it back again. Non of these worked. I have never had this kind of problems with other operators but with O2 any software updates ending you with this kind of problems. At the last software update removing the sim and putting it back brought back the system. This time that didn't work, plus it doesn't allow me call any of the o2 numbers.

Do you have a resolution? I have the same problem, contacted the help chat, they couldn't do anything then registering the problem with their technicians, I am not sure how long do I have to wait... if there is a easy fix???

Try dialing the code ##002# to cancel all diverts

And then dial 1750 to switch voicemail back on

This has worked for some
