Transferring mobile contract from Virgin to O2 - how much data?

I have just been on the blower with Virgin Media negotiating the renwwal of my BB and TV package. Part of the new deal was the transfer of my mobile phone contract which is currently with Virgin Mobile to O2. The rate agreed was £10/month for 10GB data, unlimited minutes and texts.

 

I was told that I would receive an O2 sim in a day or two and I should the text Virgin for a PAC code, put the O2 sim in my phone, call 202 and give them the PAC code which will start the new mobile contract.

 

I've just now received a welcome email from O2 which included the following line:

Item(s) ordered: 1 O2 Sim Only 5GB Set 1 £10 £0.00

This to me looks like the contract is for 5GB of data per month not the 10GB I was promised by Virgin.

Can anyone advise if this is the case or if the data will be 10GB per month when the contract starts - how can I check?
