I'm currently away in the US on holiday and I can't get any service. I've spoken to an o2 employee before arriving here as it keeps happening whenever I'm abroad. They said they had fixed it but still no service. What can I do to solve the issue as I can't call or text and I can't receive any calls or text messages

It sounds as if you have an international bar on your account and the only way to remove it is via contact with O2.
