Opening a multimedia after being informed by email that you have a message

Good afternoon. I have received an email from o2 saying I have a multimedia message. I can see that there is an attachment but cannot find it

That makes no sense. Possibly your e-mail client has blocked it. Unsolicited attachments can also be unsafe. 

1st thing- is it really from o2 and not spoofed by another person? You can find this in the e-mail transcript.

As far as I am aware o2 would never send you an attachment without telling yiu about it first.
