Moving number to O2

Hi, I have recently acquired a new payg SIM card with o2. Last week Wednesday I’ve tried to port my old number from Vodafone to my new SIM card. After being told that it would be done by 6pm on Thursday, it’s still not completed today. After numerous phone calls to customer support I’ve just been told that the account is showing as locked and I need to request new PAC code. I’ve spoken to Vodafone and the number has been ported out and my account disconnected. Now I am left without my number. Is there anything you can do to please rectify this as I urgently need the old number. Many thanks

If Vodafone have disconnected you then the PAC has been actioned their end.  Customer Services should know a new PAC can't be issued.

Might be worth trying the Social Media team on one of the links provided. They are UK based and seem more clued up than normal customer services

 

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.
