Do you have an iPhone @Neil22 ?
If yes, try changing your apn to mobile.o2.co.uk (instead of iData).
If no, then you need to get in touch with customer services to see if there is an international bar on your account.
Try messaging O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this.
You can also try manually selecting a different network to see if that helps.
