Get STAC without a phone number

Hi, I've got a very old iPhone, the number has been ported to another network.

So I have a phone without a phone number and so, unable to make and receive calls.

I have the IMEI number for the phone, and have tried to speak to O2, but strangely enough, I get cut off before the problem is resolved!!!

So, the phone is still locked to the O2 network.

How can I free it from the O2 network??

Sorry, I forgot to say that the old phone no longer has a log in to a my O2 account.

ou would need to get a pay and go sim card in order to perform the unlock

Unless you know someone whose sim card you could borrow?
