So basically, I keep getting a flag come up saying that "SIM not allowed".
I'm not sure what to do about this. I have this lovely, shiny new phone that I can't use and is currently just an extremely expensive paperweight...
I've tried to contact O2 but been unable to speak to a person and the assistant bot is about as much use as a half eaten packet of quavers.
Halp an idiot out please!

@katalyst Both devices take nano sims, so I'm not sure what you're on about?
You can contact O2 via social media who should be able to help:
Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB), Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW), or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG)
Or you can call them on 0800 081 0255
Alternatively, you can call into an O2 store, if you have one nearby, and they'll set up a new sim for you. Make sure to bring identification with you.

Either pop into an O2 store (You will need photo ID) Or
Message O2 on
Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB)
Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you

Thanks for the advice. I thought that might end up being the case. Fingers crossed that Facebook is the way forward on this as getting into town is a pain in the **** given my working scheduals.

I'm fully aware that they both take nano sims which is why this was an unexpected and as it currently stands, unexplainable issue. I mean, I'M not sure what I'm on about either!
It makes no sense and googling hasn't helped so I've been unable to rectify the issue on my own.
I can only tell you what is happening. I came here looking for answers after all
I expect you and the other posted are right though and I'll end up going to town to speak to them directly. It is what it is but it's going to mean taking a day off work which is very not ideal.
