Activating a Sim. O2 business customer

Is there any way to actually activate a sim after 8pm?

I’ve gone round in circles a dozen or so times. There’s nowhere on the o2 dashboard that allows me to do it. I’m already an o2 customer, I’m just swapping the sim for a 5G one along with a new phone. You would think this would be a simple task. 😂

@Waluigi

Im afraid it is business customer services in the morning, as they are the ones who can action a sim swap  as it isnt't on the dashboard anymore..

We have the same issues after 8pm no chance...

- Xperia 1V - o2 and Spusu
- Pixel 8 Pro - o2 and Vodafone UK

Just do a sim swap Guide: Sim Swap: a mini guide 2017 update

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Thanks, tried all of those already.

the text to swap sim isn’t supported anymore. There’s nowhere on the 02 business dashboard to swap a sim and the phone lines are closed. I suppose it’s only a business contract

I remember a few years ago there was no o2 app for business customers. I just downloaded the o2 app and it seems that there’s still no business app and users can’t use the standard o2 app. That is laughable

@Waluigi

Sim swap is still supported for consumer contracts so may just not be on business.

You need to use the MyO2 Business portal https://www.o2.co.uk/business/myo2business

Thanks, unfortunately there is nowhere to swap a sim or activate a sim on the dashboard. I’ve looked everywhere. It’s incredibly limited.

@Waluigi Looks like you'll need to call in the morning then but you can still use your old sim until then.
