If you want to pay quickly you could try via My O2 http://www.o2.co.uk/myo2 (if they accept your payment now)
However, would honestly advise setting up a direct debit. It will avoid this sort of problem in future (which is what @jonsie meant)

As I understand it (from 'researching' info for those guidelines), people have to set up the direct debit when they take out a contract. It all goes haywire when they cancel their DD after receiving the phone. O2 don't take action when this occurs
