Hi @ITFCJosh,!
Sorry to hear you can't get the phone you want on upgrade on O2 with MPD.
I took a look, their website is still showing the low-end 11 Pro available as an upgrade on O2, but I have not called them to confirm:
It is always possible to purchase the best deal you can get, with a new number, and then get O2 to transfer your number from old to new by telling O2 you want to end the current contract (assuming your device plan is fully paid-up, this will be possible, but the process is a bit slow at the moment because of the current situation with Covid-19). Note your bill on the month you change may be a little higher than normal as one contract closes and the other begins.
There's a lot of info, tips and Guides here on the Community Forum to help if that's how you want to go.
Another thing to note, @ITFCJosh - you won't get the luxury of spreading the cost of your purchase over 3years with MPD - their contracts are all 24months. The 36-month offerings on O2 can only be purchased when you work directly with O2, and on O2 Refresh tariffs only, as far as I know.
Good luck!
