Every time I try to read my voicemails I get re-directed to the top up options,I am on the pay and go go tariff which has an automatic top up every month on the due date,Also every time I make a call I get "your balance is low" when I find it hard to use 500 mins in a month,Can any one explain why this is happening.

Calls to voicemail are chargeable on PAYG so don't come out of your allowance. You need to add credit on top of the monthly allowance cost to get access to voicemail and stop the annoying messages.

Voicemail isn't free and therefore does not constitute part of your tariff. To access voicemail you need sufficient credit on your phone.

I just signed up today, and found the same problem, thanks to this forum for solving, but I didnt see mention of this anywhere when I signed up. IMO this is a scam. Adios Telefonica, I'll be moving to Vodafone ASAP.
