Bundles to pay as you go

I have been given a new phone with O2 but is has a big bundle. I do not want the big bundle just a phone that is pay as you go only. as I do not need the texts and data etc. How can I down grade please.

Just waiting for my upgrade will I just swap the sim out and keep the same number or will I get a new number ? Also so I have a tracking number for dpd no info on there site just "it's on its way" should I get phone tomorrow ?
