Why is 02 so expensive?

I switched to o2 as everyone kept telling me it was cheaper and most of my friends & family are on 02.

But with Orange I got unlimited texts for £7.50 a month

With o2 I only get 300 texts for £10

I'm failing to understand how a 14000% price increase in amount of top up required for same amount of texts I got with Orange is cheaper?

I was loyal to One2One / T-Mobile / EE since they started two decades ago. But the signal got worse & worse & became intolerable, so I've changed to O2. It's very good in this area & loads of my mates have also changed.

But I used to pay £25 to T-Mobile and O2 was £33 for 1GB & £38 for 2GB.

I went with the £38 coz I didn't really know how much, or how little, 2GB was. Looking at how much I have used so far, I've decided that 1GB is more than enough, especially as I use it a lot during the day at home where I can use my WiFi internet.

Still more expensive than I was paying, but it's a great signal - at last !

Why is O2 PAYG Classic so expensive? 5p/text,5p/meg data, & 5p a minute phone call.

3 is far cheaper, 2p/text,1p/meg data & 3p a minute phone call.

ie data usage is one fifth of O2's pricing.

Because that's what O2 have decided to charge.
Why do baked beans cost different amounts between Asda and Tesco?
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
