Using wifi for messaging

Use wifi calling for calls but does not seem to work for messaging.  Any help please?

@2seajays Try using WhatsApp over WiFi for messaging. Obviously the people you're messaging need the app too, but it's all free.

Unfortunately, bank verification codes don't come via WhatsApp....

Missed what the OP said about messaging their bank, but they can certainly use WhatsApp for pretty much anything else.

Yes much better until O2 get their act together with WIFI messaging.
I understand that Sky have introduced it so hopefully it will come soon to O2.
