We recently got an unlatching code for a phone however the lack of data suggests it might not be unlocked fully. Can anyone advise? (All setting are correct to use mobile data it just doesn't work) thanks

O2 stopped locking phones a couple of years ago. Best to try another network sim first.

That link is for unlocking under normal circumstances.
It won't workk for you as your phone is hardlocked.
