Hello, I would like some advise regarding my situation.
I have two active pay monthly o2 contracts that dont expire until 2027 on the same account.
Contract one is sim only purchased via o2.
Contract two is phone and sim purchased via third party.
I wish to transfer Contract one's number to Contract two.
I also then want to close Contract one (I know I can do this within 30 days due to price rise).
I have called o2 CS and spoke to a very unhelpful agent who repeatedly told me they were unable to do anything and I have to go via the third party. They also refused to give me a PAK code or migrate my number.
The third party laughed at this when I told them this saying only o2 can sort it out.
I went instore to o2 and spoke to manager who was watching a video on his phone the entire time, who told me to speak to a teenage assistant instead before disappearing in the back. The teenager assistant said he was new and didnt know what I was talking about before also disappearing in the back only to return much later stating they couldn't do anything in store and to call CS. He also stated he had no idea about the price rise / canceling contract, and he couldn't provide me with a Pac number or migrate my number either.
Its all very wierd. If I lose the number I lose it but any help or advise will be appreciated. Thank you.

Your best bet is to request just cancel the contract you want and get the PAC code for it, and port out to a PAYG sim card for a month and then port it back into the contract you want to keep.
DO NOT MENTION ANYTHING ABOUT 3RD PARTIES OR MIGRATIONS it confuses people
I would recommend a month as this gives time for last bills etc to be generated, and then you can start clean..
O2 can refuse to do migrations, and are doing it more and more.. so port out and back in,
And to be fair the 3rd parties are usually don't know owt about the processes of migrations..
Also not sure what a manager on there phone watching a video has owt to do with it, and that is what they do delegate..

No need to contact O2 for your PAC
Guide: How to get your PAC [June 2021 Update]
If you text INFO to 85075 it will tell you if there any fees to pay. If so, you will unfortunately need to call O2 to cancel for free, but get your PAC first and use it before O2 cancel the contract.
