So all these pages of questions and answers and you didn't think of telling us that! Smiley Mad

It points you straight at the PC as the problem.

I have an android phone. an Hauwei ascend 300y. Just doing it as a test at the moment to see if my laptop will connect to my phone for tethering. If it will I was going to change my tarriff

Turned phone on as wifi hotspot and computer recognises it. Keep getting a message saying limited access. It connects with a good strength signal but wont actually load a web page.

There is nothing on your account to restrict this so it could be a setting in the phone

Have you tried the phone on it's own first?

Hi

I'd suggest contacting o2 customer service on 202 to have your account checked.

As said though 100mb will not last very long at all when used to tether.
