Why does O2 take money from your pay and go account for data use you don't ask for. They don't give you an option to decline it. It's a form of stealing from your account

Problem has been explained by many but the OP refuses to accept the answers.
No one is been anything but nice, however, the answer is the answer and that's all there is to it....
Pious attitudes are blatant attempts at gaining notoriety and do not help with obtaining resolution.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
Please select the post that helped you best and mark as the solution. This helps other members in resolving their issues faster. Thank you.

Directed to the OP I hope as they are the one making the theft allegations, posting false information and refusing to accept the correct response.

We can do that but they should be listening!!!

When half a dozen of us give the same answer it's usually correct.

You have no idea what the others are compaining about, the advice here is correct.

This is down to a lack of knowledge of the phone user, nothing else.

There are thousands now buying "smartphones" now with no idea of how they work, which is why this forum is here to advise people on how to use the features.
