Hi - I was upgrading my monthly mobile and getting a new handset but wasn’t expecting a new SIM card - do I need a new SIM card moving from

an iPhone 8 to a 13 and will it be set up with my existing number?

You can use your old sim card in the new phone, you just wont be able to use 5G if you do this.. 

If you are in a 5G area and want to use 5G then you will need to do a sim swap, instructions are in the sim wallet as well as Guide: Sim Swap: a mini guide 2017 update
