I recently upgraded my sons iPad to a iPhone.
His new sim arrived and we activated it.
But the sim activated my phone onto his new phone not the iPad one.
So he has no phone
The iPad is now paid and removed from account and the new iPhone XR is on my account, but the sim in my phone isn’t working and the new one has replaced mine.
How can I change this to activate the new sim in his new phone with the number which was for his iPad?

Hi @Natashalouise

The problem is you UPGRADED instead of taking out a new contract. If you upgrade, the  phone's number will be transferred to the new device.

Now you need to contact O2 and explain what's happened. They will set up a new contract for the tablet and return the number to the phone.

All contact numbers are in this guide

Hey,
I’ve just come back from Australia and bought a SIM card. I can’t activate it as it’s saying I need a mobile broadband number-I can’t find that! As a result I ended up buying another 10 pounds worth of top up 🤷‍♂️

Can you help please.

Cheers, James

The number should be on the packaging Guide: How do I find my own mobile number?

Must be a broadband sim then.
Is that what you want?
