Just had someone call me up, allegedly from O2, offering me a 45% reduction in my bill if I just answer two texts. I've no idea if they are genuine and if O2 really wants to reduce my bill send me an email or write to me. Don't have someone who I can scarcely understand phone me out of the blue.
Last month if was a "free" tablet - which required me to take out a new contract for its SIM. I'm getting really fed up of endless "offers" from O2. I don't want offers or cheap tickets to something I'm not interested in. I want a decent signal at home and simple competitive rates.

The person who called you is not o2, and its a scam, and they are working down a spreadsheet of randomly generated o2 numbers (they do this on all the networks).
Report the number to 7726 and also report the call to Action Fraud.
Never give out any information.
