Solved: REPLACEMENT PHONE WHILE PHONE BEING REPAIRED?

Title says it all really, looking at getting my iPhone repaired via 02 insurance, but do I get a replacement phone in the meantime, what type of phone will it be and do I have the same number?

Only if you take it into an O2 shop, there's a returnable deposit of £25.

You don't send the sim away so you can still use the same number.

The phone you get will depend on what they have in the shop.

Also the replacement phones are rarely top of the range

What phone is it that they give you to use whilst the other is being repaired?

Just a basic Samsung or Nokia non smartphone.

You will get a basic phone to call & text the essential things but not like an iPhone or galaxy if that's what you are expecting

Can I ask why you are using Insurance for the repair? Is it over 12 months or did repairs say it would be chargeable because it's customer damage?

Unless it's an iPhone warranty should be two years.
