Not applicable
Hi I would like to cancel my contract. I am not in England at the moment and don't intent to come back anytime soon. My contract should have been expired in april but it seems o2 has renewed it without my consent. I haven't been in England since Sept last year bus was paying the bill January. Since Jan till april I haven't paid. Don't wanna pay for something I am not using but still ill pay anyways but only till april. Not gonna pay for may onwards. How can I do it from abroad?

You need to ring customer service and get it cancelled. If you dont it will continue as a rolling contract which is normal practice. You need to give O2 30 days notice when cancelling.

Phone number from abroad +44 3448090202

Information here re cancelling a contract

EDIT: You really need to keep paying until at least a month after your contract ends. (It will affect your credit rating if you don't) I know you are abroad now but you may wish to come back to the UK

Give them a call as soon as possible. When your contract expires you are automatically put onto a rolling 30 day contract. You need to give 30 days notice and pay off what you owe, otherwise o2 will just pass the debt on giving you credit file issues and all the problems associated with a default. If you haven't paid for a few months then this may already have been done.

You can use TuGo overseas to make use of your allowances over wifi.

The phone number provided to you by @Cleoriff is a free call if you call from your O2 mobile, and your contract is still active. You must speak to Customer Service asap.

Contracts do not just stop after the contracted period. I'm amazed that some people think that they do.
If in doubt, read the T&C's http://www.o2.co.uk/termsandconditions
