Only if you take it into an O2 shop, there's a returnable deposit of £25.
You don't send the sim away so you can still use the same number.
The phone you get will depend on what they have in the shop.

Can I ask why you are using Insurance for the repair? Is it over 12 months or did repairs say it would be chargeable because it's customer damage?
