I have been with Giffgaff for years on a PAYG top up as i use it and need it. In the last few months i got baited into a virgin media/02 sim contract deal with 02. I have been paying for around 5 months a PAYG giffgaff top up and around £30 a month 02 contract while not being able to use the new 02 one.
Basically i have finally figured out the code entry to port your number over to another provider which i have finally done so i can start using my 02 contract however i do not have my 02 sim card anymore. Its been months since i have last seen it and need a new one, i can access MY 02 account with no issues. I cannot however pass the security question simply because my number i want to keep and move over to 02 (for the 02 contract) is deactivated on my phone because im still using my Giffgaff sim card.
I cannot receive texts due to my PAYG giffgaff sim has not been cut off so i cannot make calls or receive them and when trying to phone im met with an immediate cut off.

02 support requires my text code confirmation which i am unable to do so and im stressing as i need my contact number for emergencies and child care, its been an awful lot of hassle trying to move over my number and when it has deactivated i didnt realise security sent a message to my current (but expired sim).

Please could anyone help, it might not make sense to some of you but im not sure how to best explain my situation.
PAYG sim deactivated whilst wanting to keep number but cannot access my paid 02 contract sim as i need a replacement.

Many thanks
