My O2 contract expires on 3 January and I'm fully paid. I am going to move to a SIM only GiffGaff deal either on my existing phone or with a new purchased one.
I know GiffGaff is owned by O2 but what will be the easiest way to keep my existing number and move it to GiffGaff? And do I need to give O2 30 days notice in order to move?
Thanks
Steve

No need to give notice.

Just get your PAC from O2 and give it to giffgaff which will cancel your O2 sim and start your giffgaff sim with your number.
