Problems in transferring my old number to O2

I just got an iPhone with contract with O2. Got the SIM card and everything and I completed the form online to transfer my old number(different company) to the new O2 Sim card.

 

Everything was succesfull but I haven't received any kind of text or e-mail about it?

Is it normal? How long does it take for the number to be transferred?

The question was asked because quite a few other people moving from Orange to 02 have had issues with the PAC issued from Orange.

 

You shouldn't have the same issues moving from GiffGaff.

 

I would suggest you contact 02 just to make sure all is ok.

No, it's GiffGaff.

Actually now I'm thinking:
The original number was Lebara, then moved to GiffGaff.

Does it mean anything? GiffGaff still provided me with a PAC code so if there were any problem from them they shouldn't have provided the PAC code in the first place, isn't it?

I'll just wait tomorrow to see if I receive anything.
Maybe they haven't processed anything yet because I did it after 6PM (not sure, but likely to be later than 6)
