I just got an iPhone with contract with O2. Got the SIM card and everything and I completed the form online to transfer my old number(different company) to the new O2 Sim card.
Everything was succesfull but I haven't received any kind of text or e-mail about it?
Is it normal? How long does it take for the number to be transferred?

The question was asked because quite a few other people moving from Orange to 02 have had issues with the PAC issued from Orange.
You shouldn't have the same issues moving from GiffGaff.
I would suggest you contact 02 just to make sure all is ok.
