Merge Two Accounts Into One?

Hi, I have two separate accounts with O2 but pay for both myself (one is for my phone and the other is for a family members). Is it possible to merge them into one account so that I can access both from one My O2 page and see each accounts bills etc?

This stems from a few years ago when I was with Virgin Media and they had an offer on a TV, broadband and phone package but you could only have one sim on it and I needed two, so had to set up a separate account for the other sim card. I know O2 offer a Multisave option but this turned out to be more expensive than just having two separate accounts but I can't manage both accounts and I don't have access to the other phone to manage the account from there so would like to be able to manage both accounts from my own phone or my PC.

I have tried phoning O2 multiple times but just keep getting put through to a call centre abroad where I can't understand them very well and they don't really understand what I want to achieve and keep going on about sending me out a sim card and transferring the other number to that and that will be under one account despite me telling them I have tried this and it doesn't work.

If I go the Multisave route then I will lose the discounts to my Virgin Media services. It's all very confusing and the merger between VM and O2 is just a mess.

Any help would be great please.

@BriBride

You can't merge accounts anymore but you can login to both on the same phone or device using the different login details.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Hi, thanks for the reply. I wasn't able to do this on my phone with the My O2 app, it just doesn't give me an option to log out or in. I managed to sort the issue out by getting access to the other phone and logging in to the O2 account on my PC using that phone's email address and then linking that to the phone number on the Virgin Media/O2 website. This then sent a code to the phone which I was then able to input into the website to link the phone with the email address. So now I can sign in on my PC with two separate login details, one for each phone.

It's a shame you can't just merge accounts into one or have some kind of family deal with two sims on one account but at least I achieved what I wanted in the end.
