I've been paying £39 A month for my contract, received text stating new bill was available so signed into o2 to veiw it, my bill has increased to £40.56? I haven't gone over my data allowance, and have unlimited call minutes and texts? No charges for international calls as none been made. States on my bill no extra charges? Why has my monthly payment increased?

@Jamieleigh

Your tariff increases by rpi every year.
https://www.o2.co.uk/prices

You should have received a text and email back in February informing you of this.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

It's all in the terms and conditions that we all have to agree to and is in the emails that you were sent. If you purchased in store you should have been made aware at point of sale.

Each year O2 (and all the networks) increase your monthly tariff by the rate of inflation,  the current APR. This has been agreed by the regulating bodies so that that the ñètworks can squeeze more out of you when their own costs go up. Don't agree with it myself but there is Jack Shot anyone can do about it I'm afraid.
