On Monday 13 December my new phone arrived along with the sim. Followed all the instructions and waited 24 hours for my number to transfer, the temp number became invalid and my account was updated with my old number. However the phone did not work so the start of my pain began. I called O2 and we went through all the sim reset options and none worked to which I was told they would send out a new sim, nothing had arrived by the Saturday so I went to a local store who done the sim swap but still no joy. Yes I was told to wait another 24 hours,
I have since called 02 every day and every day I am told they have found the fault and it will be fixed in 24 hours.
last night I was told we need to do a sim swap again. Feels very much like they have no clue and clutching at straws, has anyone had issues that take two weeks and counting to resolve
I won’t go into how poorly I have been treated by customer service as I will run out of words.
any help would be appreciated

That’s worrying. I’m 48 hours into o2 struggling to activate a sim. It’s extremely bizarre.

Thanks pgn and Lisa the issue has now been resolved
just wish I had turned to here 10 days ago.
