Phone connection has died

I was only on the phone to one of O2 guru less than an hour ago about another problem & now my phone connection sounds dead. Just a tone.

We're gonna need a bit more info to help here but it might be a sim or account problem.

Try cleaning the sim card and rebooting the phone.
