So to cancel now is been dispatched it has to be booked back in by o2.
You need to tell the store to return it.

My daughter bought it for Xmas surprise well some surprise eh if she needed id to collect it eh? What if it got delivered would delivery driver wanted to see named contact to deliver it !? Don't think so

You really do need to go instore and tell them to return it. Once returned it may lie around in the delivery area for a couple of days before it's scanned back into stock and the order cancelled. Unfortunately as we have found with O2, it's always down to the customer to do the chasing.
