Just read some fantastic news that O2 have bagged all 40mHz of the 2300mHz 4G spectrum.
I have two questions:
1. When will this actually come into operation?
2. Which handsets are compatible with the new band and will be enabled to take full advantage of O2’s
Spectrum acquisition?
Thanks very much in advance.

My source informs me the rollout is going at break-neck speed.
There are now 100 or so 2300mHz masts working in the London(ish) area.
As far west as Slough to as far east as Gravesend up as for north as Watford but funnily enough only one south of the Thames.
And a certain city up North is all set to go live as well.

Not sure of any cities yet, but o2 are not messing around. 100 were promised by end of April with 1000 end of year.
O2 are aware of Manchester or Birmingham and These are 2 areas in desperate of needing the rollout. Speeds are awful to 0. But not sure how it will work being a controlled VF area.
ive not noticed anything yet, keep doing speed tests in areas, so only time will tell
