New device and rolling sim

Hi , I have just took out my first contract phone , I decided to take the contract over 7 months as I didn’t want a lengthy contract , does anyone know if I can cancel the sim once the 7 months are up and my device is paid off ? Thanks

Once you have paid the device off you can cancel at any time.
