Hi,

Can someone please explain this to me like I'm a 5 year old 🙈🤣

So I got an O2 SIM only plan in May via uSwitch.

I'm now looking at getting my son a SIM only plan via uSwitch too.

Would this qualify for the multisave?

Same address etc etc.

The confusion I'm at is which needs to be the lead number etc for this to work.. if it would at all 😕

Many thanks

That's nonsense

My second sim was through USwitch and I get the discount

Ignore what customer service says

Simply text LOYALTY from your present sim with the number of the second sim to 21500

No need for customer services to be involved

When signing up, say you are already an o2 customer and add the new sim to your account and once you have passed the checks credit and affordability and have the sim

This guide has all the info Guide: O2 Open & Friends and Family discounts - How to sign up

The lead number is the first one activated on the network.

Only subsequent ones get the discount, not the lead one.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Ah that makes sense.

Ok 👍

Just contacted O2 and the say it's not eligible as the new contract would be via a third party (uSwitch).

Which again would make sense but that takes you to the O2 website to sign up anyway.

Based on that reply from them.

It'll be cheaper just to get my son a Lebara SIM instead.
