Hello
I have two additional lines under my account/profile since 2023, which I pay for. These two additional lines have 20% multisave discount applied.
My sister recently came back to O2 in mid July 2025 (having previously been an O2 customer a few years ago). She has her own account/profile, will be paying her own bills like she did previously.
When she was a customer previously, she got the 20% discount applied on her bills – I was the lead connector, and we lived at the same address.
When purchasing her plan in July 2025, and since then, the O2 agents my sister spoke to, all said my sister would be able to get the 20% multisave discount applied to her bills – even if I am the lead connector and my sister has her own separate account/profile - since we live at the same address. However, after I followed the instructions from the agents twice to text to 21500 process, nor my sister or I have had any confirmation about the 20% discount being applied on her bills.
Today, we spoke to an O2 agent again today, and they said that’s not possible, and that the agents we’ve spoken to previously provided misinformation.
Her bill generates on 8th August – so we’d like this to be sorted out before then, so she is able to get the 20% discount applied on her first bill.
I wanted to ask the community and @Dave-O2 if in this scenario, can my sister actually get the 20% multisave discount applied to her bills – because that’s what all of O2 agents have told us prior to today. That’s why she got the tariff she got, so she could benefit from the 20% discount, and her bills would be 20% cheaper.
Thank you

@Mang0
All has to be on the same account, and under the same lead number, so o2 are correct in this instance it cant be done..
The first agent got it wrong, which happens and will be put down to human error, you can try the complaints route

Since 2023, I have two additional lines under my own account which I pay for, which have the 20% discount - it is not in a group, I’ve always seen the discount applied on the additional lines’ bills.
My sister has her own contract with her own account – she wants to manage her own accounts, but she would like to benefit from the 20% Multisave discount (we live at the same address).
Five O2 agents said that this is doable, only the sixth person from today, is the one who said this is not doable.
So this is conflicting information - we were under the impression that this can be done, which is why my sister took out the tariff she did.

Have you added your sisters number to your family group?

"Get 20% off the airtime plan of every new eligible Pay Monthly connection that you add to your account, or add other O2 numbers to your Multisave group to share your savings. You can add up to 20 numbers to your group."
4. How to participate:
4.1 If purchasing online or over the phone, customers who wish to participate in the Offer (“Participants”) can redeem the Offer within 28 days of taking a Qualifying Contract (“Redemption Period”) by, opening up your My O2 account, heading to the “Multisave Group” section and selecting “Create a Multisave Group”. Then, select a mobile number from your account list in the “add a member” section. If they are not in your account list add their email address and mobile phone number under the “non account” section. Click “Add member” to confirm your selection and the recipient of the discount will need to accept your invitation to join your Multisave Group in their MyO2 account. In the event this method does not work try texting the keyword ‘LOYALTY’ to the short code 21500. Application texts must be received before the Redemption Period expires. Participants will receive a text or series of texts requesting information to which Participants must respond fully and accurately before their Qualifying Contract is added to Multisave.
