Ive been trying to get in touch with o2, finally got into the account and paid my bill but now I've had a letter from moorcroft debt- please tell me what's going on

You need to speak to the Payment Management Team on 0800 902 0217.
The opening times are:
Monday to Friday – 8am to 8pm
Saturday – 8am to 6pm
Sunday – 9am to 6pm

I think in hindsight that you should have paid Moorcroft as O2 will have sold the debt on to them
Going off other peoples' experiences O2 don't inform Moorcroft that the debt has been settled
At the very least you should make Moorcroft aware so they don't chase you for money
