How Can I Block A Number

Can anyone tell me how or if i can block a number from texting me? Im not getting any annoying messages its just i want to stop someone from texting me at certain times of the day / week.

why not just ask them not to text you at certain times of the day or week, or can you not do that because they might get suspicious!!!

O2 cannot block a number from texting you for inconvenience. Certain handsets have this capability ie Samsung, some Motorola etc. but again you block it completely as you can't just block between certain time periods. As Caroline says, either contact them yourself or switch your phone off at those 'certain times' !
