I'm currently on o2 simplicity 20. Recently i'm admitted to the hospital and used 10 GB of data as there is no wifi in the hospital. After discharged from the hospital, i tried to used the net for taxi number and my Internet not working.
I called customer adviser and been told i used 10GB data, that the limit for this tariff even it's unlimited. And they can't lift this restriction until next month bill. I explained the situation to the customer adviser i need the data to get home but they tried to sell expensive plan if i want the data.
they not even care about my situation that i discharged from the hospital and tried get to the home in rainy weather.
Please help me whether to stay with o2 or go some else

So assume its fair use issue then
Yes and this has been raised before at one time was reported on here as 6Gb per month
And the old t&c did say fair use but no hard limit ( for the op tariff)

how much is fair use?
they selling 12, 20 and 30gb plan
my average usage is only 4.7gb according to the o2.
I not abusing the system and i just used 10gb because of the my situation at the hospital.

Fair use was stated (on this community) as 6gb a month on the old unlimited tariffs but on the new metered tariffs it is what you pay for like my 30gb tariff on my iPhone 6s I can use 30gb a month no issues

Presumably you wouldn't normally use your allowance but for the hospital stay. However, surely you could have called any taxi without using the app, no need to be stranded at a hospital because you you have no data left. I just can't get my head round that at all.
@adamtemp64 is correct that you can't add a data bolt on to a legacy unlimited tariff though posts on here stated that the fup was reported to be 4gb. You won't find that written anywhere in the T&Cs though.
