Extra free credit for topping up

Anonymous
Not applicable
Hi, I just topped up my SIM for the first time with £10 and it said I would get £10 extra credit if I topped up before 18/3/15. My balance is still only £10 though? Can anyone please let me know when this will update to £20?
Thanks

It's just a little unclear I think, I'm a giffgaff customer and this O2 PAYG is not really PAYG as its all monthly bundles in one shape or form so even 'calling credit' is a little unclear. Just my newbie observations grin

I am not a newbie and I agree with you actually. It does 'appear' as if you double your credit if you top up as stated.....:smileywink:

I certainly think they should clarify it and possibly include a help link in the text. You aren't the first person to question this and you won't be the last. That's why we know all about it and you can get your query answered on here wink

Stick with gg if you want a proper old fashioned PAYG account.

I am sticking with GG (for now) I've been there a while now and it works great for me grin

Ok... So one last question... I topped up £30 to have £15 credit as it automatically purchased the £15 bundle after my second £10 top up!!!...

I've used the £15 credit to just submit an unlock iPhone request. It says I'll get a text in 14 days.... Fine.

My 1st question is, when will the £15 be taken for the unlock? Now or when I get the text?

My balance still reads £15 now, because I have the £15 bundle I guess the balance will stay £15 as long as I don't call non 01,02,03 numbers and not use over 200mins in next month? In which case when will the £10 virtual credit come into play??

When I use my bundle up? Or when I've used my bundle and the £15 credit? (That I need for the unlock!!)

Thanks!!

Although I've answered your other thread, for completeness I'll write it here too wink
Virtual credit first, then bundle allowance then actual credit, in that order.....
