Hi, I have confirmed a contract that includes phone and sim at 30£ Monthly. As I received the first bill I noticed the amount changed and increased at £32.01. I would like to understand what is the increase due to.

It could be to cover a few days before the first month to get you in the normal billing cycle @L92 .

What does your bill show the additional amount is for?

It's usually because it covers more days than a normal monthly bill

If you signed up to a Pay monthly deal, your first bill may be a bit higher than you expected. This is because it includes:

  • A 'part month line rental' charge covering the time between the day you signed up and the day we sent your first bill
  • Your line rental fee for the month ahead - you always pay line rental one month in advance
  • Any charges from the day you were connected to the day we sent your first bill, like calls, texts and bundles
